If you are more of the latter, don’t start worrying yet – there's still time! Check out two of our favorite DIY Halloween decorations along with a super cute Halloween themed recipe below.

Trash Bag Spider

You will need:

  • 2 black trash bags
  • Paper or Leaves
  • Scissors
  • Black duct tape (optional)

Step 1:

Fill one of the trash bags with either crumpled up paper or leaves. Make sure the bag is pretty full, but not totally stuffed. Either tape or tie the bag shut.

Step 2:

Using the scissors, cut up the other trash bag into 5 long strips.

Step 3:

Tie one of the strips to tie around the filled trash bag about ¾ of the way up. This will create the head of the spider.

Step 4:

Tie another strip around where the previous strip is. This will create 2 of the spider legs.

Step 5:

Repeat step 4 until all of the remaining strips have been tied onto the spider.
